Who do you keep information about?

We keep information about you and residents in the Tees Valley. We keep your information only if you have agreed to our communications.

Information kept is contact information, name, phone number and email; some location data and at times we collect statistical information through surveys which includes, demographic, educational, health and travel data for which you would also have given consent by taking a survey or making a pledge. We also keep photos and video for which we would also have asked your consent. We also use cookies on our website.

Why do you keep information about me?

We keep information about you to inform you of events and to encourage residents of Tees Valley to use sustainable transport and to share news about sustainable transport across Tees Valley and we only keep your information with your consent.

Who can see my information?

Staff from the Sustainable Transport team of Darlington borough council and other members of staff from the Tees Valley Combined Authority, including Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton-On-Tees’s councils if it is deemed necessary for the purposes of promoting sustainable transportation in a specific Tees Valley region.

How do you store the information you keep about me?

We keep all information in private, password secured databases online or in locked cabinets in our Let’s Go Tees Valley offices.

How long do you keep information about me?

We keep your information for as long as you would like to continue receiving information or updates from us. If you no longer want to receive information from us, you may unsubscribe by sending an email to [email protected] at any time. 

How did the Council get my personal data?

Your information has been collected only with your consent. We collect your personal data through personal interactions, surveys, online forms or through direct mail.
