Welcome to the Darlington Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) 2024.
The council and our health and social care partners produce the JSNA to inform decision-making about health and wellbeing in the borough and reduce inequalities.
The JSNA provides a summary of the current and future health, care and wellbeing needs of the local community, to support local decision-making and service planning.
It is a legal requirement of the Health and Wellbeing Board to produce a JSNA, which must be published by the council.
Each Health and Wellbeing Board also has a separate duty to develop a pharmaceutical needs assessment (PNA) for their area:
