Community resilience
Community Resilience Officer
The Community Resilience Officer assists the Police and other local partners in finding solutions for problems in our town centre and communities. They do this by finding out what people want from their various local services.
They help build relationships with different community groups within Darlington as well as supporting the Council’s;
- partners,
- local businesses,
- voluntary organisations
- and communities
to help make Darlington a great place to live, work and visit.
They manage the Council's response to the Government’s Prevent duty (preventing terrorist activity).
For advice on PREVENT training for businesses and voluntary groups in Darlington, or to discuss how your community or group can help reduce crime and anti-social behaviour contact the Community Resilience Officer - 01325 406786 or email [email protected]
