Talented young athletes in Darlington are being helped with free training. It is for those aiming for medal success. It is at the Dolphin Centre and Eastbourne Sports Complex.

Aspiring young athletes can access free swimming and sports facilities at their local centre. They can also get coach and athlete support. This is part of the Tees Valley Sports AMP Champion programme. [external link]

The young athletes and players must participate in regional and national squads in selected sports. They must not receive any other performance related funding. 

Applications can be made at any time. They will be considered at different times throughout the year.
