Talented young athletes in Darlington, who are aiming for medal success are being helped with free training at the Dolphin Centre and Eastbourne Sports Complex.

As part of the Tees Valley Sports AMP Champion programme, aspiring young athletes can access free swimming and sports facilities at their local centre as well as coach and athlete support.

The young athletes and players must be participating in regional and national squads in selected sports and not receiving any other performance-related funding. 

Applications can be made at any time and will be considered different times throughout the year.
