Engagement Events across the town 

The Housing Services program of Engagement events hit the ground running in January with the team attending over 20 events across Darlington. The engagement events will carry on into February. Keep your eyes peeled on our social media pages for where the team will be. The teams are on hand to answer your housing queries we would love all tenants to pop along and see the team.  

Darlington Home Online - Prize Draw Launch 

To encourage tenants to sign up to our Darlington Homes Online Platform we have launched an incentive, if a tenant signs up between January and March, they will automatically be entered into a Prize Draw. Which will take place in April! 

The benefits of signing up to Home Online: 

• Save time 

• Check you rent balance and transactions 

• Make online rent payments 

• Report Repairs 

• Send messages to our Housing Team 

• View and print your rent statements  

 

Hugs in Bags 

The Housing Team shared information on a great service Darlington Making Space are offering. They currently have Winter Warm Packages are available. 
So if you know of anyone who is vulnerable and who may benefit from a Hug in a Bag -

Working Together 

The Housing Team and Surveying Team were out on the Skerne Park Estate looking at ways to improve the area. The Housing Officer Donna is passionate about making a change and working with various people to do this.  

Tenants Panel – First meeting of the year 

The Tenants Panel met in January to kick off the year with a variety of topics. The Head of Housing attended and shared the Housing Revenue Account Presentation. The panel were asked their views on several topics such as; How to increase access to properties and reduce missed appointments? Floor Coverings, reviewing letters and approving these, etc.
