Your Rent FAQs
Lots of people have questions about their rent. Here are some of the questions we receive most often. You might find the answer to your own questions here but if not please contact us, the details are at the bottom of the page.
We send you a letter every year in March to let you know how much your rent and service charges are. If you have misplaced the letter please call us on 01325 405333 or email us at [email protected] and we can let you know how much your rent is and the balance of your account.
You can pay your rent by one of the following methods:
- standing order
- direct debit
- telephone
- at the Post Office or a Pay Zone shop using your rent card

If you are not able to clear the balance on your rent account, please get in touch with us. We can work with you to make sure you are claiming any benefits you are entitled to, set up a payment plan and discuss with you ways to pay.

If you do not keep upto date with your rent, you are in breach of your tenancy agreement and we could take legal action against you.
If you are struggling to pay your rent, please contact us and ask to speak to our Tenancy Sustainment Team. They can check your income and see if you are entitled to any benefits.

What if I am not satisfied with the response?
We hope that we can work together with our residents and listen to their voices and resolve any problems, but if you are unhappy with the response from the Housing team we have a complaints procedure you can follow and you can contact our Complaints Team by:
