Tenants Panel Meeting - on the road

It was great to use Wesley Court Community Centre today for our March Tenants Panel Meeting. Some great discussions were held, and Rachele a Housing Management Officer was on hand to answer questions.  It was great to make use of the great spaces that are on offer to our tenants. We will be moving the May meeting to another Community Centre in Darlington.

Good Neighbour – David from Linden Court

As Spring has arrived, it was great to see David from Linden Court tending to the gardens.

He enjoys making the area look nice and it uplifts the tenants.  David has been using the Community Funding they received last year and he said ‘you can really see the benefit the funding has had on all tenants at Linden Court - we love to have the area looking great.’

Upskilling our Tenants Panel

The Tenant Involvement Team are keen to ensure that our Tenants Panel have all the skills necessary to complete important tasks.

Darlington resident Dawn is one of the most active members of the Tenants Panel, but did not have access to any digital technology so would receive documents to review via post.

Dawn was keen to learn the digital side of the tenants panel, the tenant involvement team wanted to reward Dawn for her dedication over the years and gifted Dawn a laptop so she could learn new skills and review online documents.

Keep up the good work Dawn – thank you for you continued support to the Housing Services.
